A Saint goes through the stomach

Where is the Martini-goose from? It is told that geese waddled into the church and have interrupted Saint Martin during his preaching.

The people of the church captured the animals and prepared them for a meal. This history is the origin of this custom, which is known nowadays as the Martini goose meal.
